Archiving Policy

Archiving Policy

Digital preservation is a set of processes and activities to ensure the continued and long-term availability of information in digital formats through appropriate backups and distribution systems. At Medvix, we recognize the importance of our digital content and have implemented comprehensive measures to guarantee its accessibility and long-term preservation.

Website archiving, abstracting or indexing services, and self-archiving rights contribute to preservation.

Website Archiving

Website archiving helps ensure the complete preservation of the journal and guarantees the long-term availability and accessibility of research work. Regular backups in our redundant storage systems ensure all published material is always preserved and available, minimizing or eliminating the risk of digital decay.

Abstracting / Indexing Services

We integrate with major indexing services to ensure easy data retrieval in any untoward incident. Regular submission of metadata to more archives increases the chances of discovery and visibility.

Self-Archiving

The accepted manuscript can be self-archived on the author’s website, funders’ websites, or institutional repositories for public release. The author retains full copyright of their articles, ensuring that visibility is never compromised.
